Well the summer months are well and truly here. Our heart felt condolences go out to all the victims of the recent bushfires and our gratitude goes out to the brave men and women out there fighting them.

Well alas as we have been predicting the effect of the exchange rate with the US dollar is starting to now affect our pricing, and unfortunately you will see pricing changing a fairly regular basis as old stock runs out and new stock is bought in. As always we will maintain our margins to the minimum and pass on the best prices possible.

EPIRBS are now the topic of the month and are becoming very hard to get. We presently have a good stock of Kannads however the GME units now all have lead times of up to 1 month on them. KTI unfortunately still have not got their final certification on their units, however they are telling us that they are very close. Given the 10 year battery life the KTI's will represent excellent value once they hit the streets.

For the cooks amongst us have a look at our new range of cookie cutters, cake tins and chocolate moulds, all with a unique aviation theme. You will certainly make some tasty treats that will be the highlight of the next fly-in or coffee break in the hanger.

Sentinent Software AirNav software has also seen some large price reductions in their main products. Have a look at the new pricing in the software section. AirNav is very practical software that utilises Airservices maps and is very easy to use. If you wish to plan and lodge your flight plans electronically this may well be the software for you. 

Our David Clark headsets have been moving at a great rate of knots over the last few months. All of our David Clark headsets are supplied direct from David Clark USA and as such have both a full 5 year warranty and are fully serviced in Australia in the unlikely event you have a warranty claim or require repairs. We also carry a full stock of all consumable items for these headsets as well as a large range of parts.

We have also dropped our prices on our Icom transceiver range this month. And then just to make the choice harder Vertex have added new models to our range. Lots of choices in the communications product line.  

You will see we have continued to add a large number of new pins and models into stock over the last few months. These are proving to be very popular and the best news is there are still more new designs are on their way.

We have decided to continue running our promotion on our large range of Air Utopia of DVD’s. We will be giving a full 50% off on all of their titles whilst stocks last. Time to stock up for some quality viewing over the winter months.

Also if you have a look through our extensive range of books you will see a large number of new titles. Book titles are something that unfortunately change regularly, as publishers are tending to do shorter and shorter print runs nowadays, so if you like it, you need to consider purchasing it, or it may be out of print by the time you visit us next.
